Road Obstacle Detection

Built a real-world Obstacle Detection System using YOLOv8, trained to detect 25 obstacle classes including pedestrians, vehicles, traffic signs, stairs, and more — targeting assistive AI and autonomous navigation use cases. Achieved mAP50 of 90.2% and Precision of 88.4%.

Ames Housing Price Prediction

Developed a machine learning pipeline for predicting house prices using the Ames Housing dataset. Applied feature engineering, preprocessing, hyperparameter tuning, and regression techniques including Ridge, Lasso, ElasticNet, and Polynomial Regression. The optimized Polynomial Ridge model achieved strong generalization performance with a Test R² score of 0.8837.
